Ready to Kupı?
1.Boil Water - Boil a full kettle of water. Bring it to the bathroom or boil it there directly if preferred
2.Prepare the Kupı Bag - Open the reusable Kupı cloth bag wide and fill it with 45g of your chosen Kupı blend. You can reuse the same mixture the next day for a milder soak, though it will be less concentrated (no pre-steep needed). Pull the strings tight to close the bag securely:
Wrap one string around the top in one direction;
Wrap the other string in the opposite direction;
Tie a knot and finish with a bow to keep the contents secure.
3.Pre-Steep the Blend - Place the bag in a large bowl and pour in the hot water until the bag is fully submerged.
4.Activate the Tea Bath - Actively steep for a few minutes, stirring, pressing, and lifting the bag to release colour and aroma. Use tongs or a spatula to avoid burns.
* This process replicates steeping tea in a tea bag.
5.Prepare the Bath - While the tea steeps (4-7 min), fill the tub with hot water (to your comfort). Keep the bathroom door closed to trap the steam and enhance the experience.
6.Transfer the Infusion - Once the tub is ready, pour the concentrated herbal tea into the bath along with the cloth bag.
7.Immerse & Enjoy - Step into the bath and soak in nature's finest ingredients. You can:
Squeeze the cloth bag to release more herbal essence into the water;
Use it as a gentle bath sponge for a soothing herbal rub;
Hold it near your nose to inhale the aromas and deepen relaxation.
Take a deep breath, unwind, and let the herbs do their magic.
A Note on Green Rings
You might notice a faint green ring in your tub after a soak — don’t worry, it’s just a sign that our herbs are the real deal. When wild plants meet warm water, they release natural oils and pigments (like chlorophyll), which can cling to soap scum or minerals in hard water.
It’s nothing a quick rinse won’t fix — a splash of vinegar or a soft scrub with baking soda works wonders. We like to think of it as nature leaving a little love note behind.
